Finance Intern
About the role
We're seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our team and help us achieve our growth goals. You'll be responsible for helping us build out our financial templates including financial models, presentations, and other analysis templates.
Please note that this internship is completely virtual and remote. While we are based on the east coast, you have the flexibility to work on your own schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to support content on our website and newsletter on financial topics for small businesses and start-ups
- Support the creation of engaging content to grow Resource Library with the focus of helping small business owners on finance, tax, and accounting topics
- Build Google Sheets and Excel financial models and analyses with minimal guidance and feedback
- Build charts and presentation templates such as pitch decks, data decks, and similar for clients
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn about new technologies and domains
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- Strong grasp of Excel and Google Sheets, or willing to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who thrives without regular oversight
- Must be able to work 5 - 20 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks
